Rangers Appeal League Management Company Decision

Unknown     22:59:00     Football, Home     No comments

The management of Rangers Intl. FC Enugu has appealed the Summary jurisdiction notice form 16 of the League Management Company on the false allegations leveled against the Club on the aftermath of the March day one between Rangers Intl. FC Enugu and Abia Warriors on Sunday, 15th January 2017 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
In a statement, the Director, Media and Public Relations, Foster Chime said Rangers amongst other facts dissociated themselves from actions perpetrated against match officials on the said day, absolving Rangers Intl. FC Supporters from such allegations and any unsportsmanlike behavior.
It further stated that Rangers Intl. FC provided adequate security on said day including police, Army and civil defense that provided maximum protection to the March officials.
Rangers FC management maintained further that, rather than pointing accusing fingers at Rangers supporters, blame should be apportioned to supporters of visiting Abia Warriors FC Club, who trooped into the Stadium, pitch at the end of the game which made the officials to be came jittery.

The club asserts that the players and supporters did not molest any official nor exhibits any action capable of bringing the league into disrepute, stressing that Enugu has been one of the most peaceful match centers and still is been because of the fans civility and gentleness.

Rangers management maintained that the allegations against it is not entirely but implore the LMC to conduct a more details investigation on what happened on that day as well as the conduct of the match officials that might triggered off the remote cause of these unacceptable allegations contained with the notices against the club with a view to unravel the true picture and correct situation of what happen with a view to exonerating Rangers Intl. F C Enugu from all the distorted and malicious fabrications and allegations capable of tarnishing the good and untainted image of the club.

Meanwhile, the Acting board Chairman of Rangers, Bar. Steve Oruruo has commended Rangers players  for posting a good result in the match day two of the NPFL against Nasarawa united in Lafia on Wednesday.

According to Rangers FC media, the one all draw will encourage the players more to overrun the El-Kanemi football Club in Maiduguri on Sunday in their match day three in Enugu.
He urged the players and officials to remain focused and not allow the feat in Nasarawa behind their sense of judgment when they confront El-Kanemi on Sunday but use it to consolidate on the result posted against El-Kanemi in the last game of 2016/2017 soccer season in Enugu before being crowned a champions when they thrashed their four goals to nothing.
