NFF blast Enugu Rangers
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has blasted the Champions of the Nigeria Professional Football class, Enugu Rangers for their poor excursion on the continent.The Federation put a large portion of the fault on the administration of the club side.

Enugu Rangers Held To A 2-2 draw by visiting Club Zesco United as fans attack Coach
The CAF confederation match between Enugu Rangers Int'l of Nigeria and Zesco united of Zambia was a disappointing one for Rangers fans as they were held to a 2-2 draw by the Zambian side.
Rangers were leading by a lone goal after the first half goal by Osas Okoro from the spot kick. The Enugu based side in the second half doubled the lead.

Man killed Aged uncle over land dispute in Enugu
A father of two and an acclaimed mathematics teacher with ukpata community secondary school in uzouwani Local Government Area of Enugu state,Daniel Ekemezie have been arrested by the Police in Enugu State for killing his 83 year old uncle, Patrick Odoh, over land dispute.

Man Behead mum collect her blood and ran away from community in Abia
Tragedy struck at Umuchagu Osokwa in Osisioma Ngwa council area of Abia State when a man, said to be in his early 20s, beheaded his mother, collected her blood and fled the community.
The victim, identified as Cecilia Nwanjie, was said to have returned from the farm at about 6.30pm, last Thursday, to meet his son who visited home. After exchanging greetings, Cecilia, according to a community source, went into the kitchen to prepare dinner for the family.
Vanguard learnt that the victim had been leaving alone since the death of her husband, Nwanjie Onyerionwu, and engaged in menial jobs to make ends meet as her two sons live outside the village.
The elderly son reportedly visited home the previous day. Having been assured that no one was at the compound, the junior son allegedly attacked his mother with a machete and slashed her throat, collected her blood and fled the area.
The source stated that neighbours were attracted to the scene by a loud cry from the Nwanjie compound at about 7.30pm after which the Cecilia’s lifeless body was discovered surrounded with blood soaked items.

Woman Commits Suicide in Anambra
A 38-year-old woman has committed suicide at her residence in Umusiome village, Nkpor-agu near Onitsha, Anambra State. The deceased, a petty trader, identified as Lovina Odo, was said to have hung herself with rope tied to a ceiling fan at about 5:00pm.
