The Enugu State Police Command on Thursday said it had arrested two suspected fraudsters for faking the Facebook account of the State Deputy Governor, Cecilia Ezeilo.

The Police Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) says it has fatally injured a notorious bandit and left others with degrees of injures in an in an exchange of fire power in Nsukka axis of Enugu State.

Suspected thieves escape being lynched to death in Imo

These men pictured above, escaped being lynched to death after they were allegedly caught stealing motorcycles at Alaojii Aba branch Ehime Mbano LGA.

Facebook user, Kingsley M Chukwu, who shared the photos online, said it took the intervention of the local government Chairman of the area to rescue the thieves.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, yesterday secured the conviction of one Mrs. Chika Amsy Charles, who was convicted by Justice D.V Agishir of the Federal High Court sitting in Enugu, and sentenced to three years imprisonment on each of the thirty count charge preferred against her by the Commission.
The sentence which was to run concurrently from the date of her conviction, was without an option of a fine.

20- years-old Emannuel Effiong Ikot Edet in Akwa Ibom State has been arrested for beheading a woman at Aba park Abia State.
