Following a Poor performance during the just concluded NPFL season. The governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has relieved the management, staff and coaching crew of the Imo based club.
The club finished the league season on 18th position with 44points and got relegated to the Nigeria National League.
The Supervisor of the the club and Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of assembly Ugona Ozuruigbo, in a statement released named Chibuzo Etuemena as new General Manager of the club.
Etuemena was appointed as chairman of the club seven weeks before the end of the last season. He replaced former General Manager Oscar Keke, who has now been returned as Chief Operating officer of the club.
He further stated that a Technical committee has been set up to advise on the compostition of the new management team as well as technical crew with view to ensuring immediate return of the club to the elite division after just a season in the lower league.
