The Victorious Rangers lntl. FC, Enugu team on Saturday, 15th October, 2016 holds a victory parade/carnival round major roads and street within the Enugu metropolis from seven o’clock in the morning.
In a press statement, the Public Relations Manager and Director Media and Publicity of Rangers, Foster Chime said the victory parade slated for Saturday, 15th October, 2016, will take off from the clubs temporary players camp at Emene near Enugu by seven o’clock Saturday morning with a motorcade that will pass through, Abakpa Nike, Trans- Ekulu, GRA, Ogbete Main Market, Coal Camp, Agbani Road, Eso bus stop, Zik’s Avenue, Conoil by Edinburgh Road through Obiagu road, Onu-Asata then through Nza Street Independence Layout and the New Heaven, through Ogui Road and finally stop at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu later in the day.
The Rangers board after its emergence meeting on Wednesday, among other resolutions, approved the holding of Saturdays Victory Parade/Carnival, to enable thousands of Rangers and Soccer Loving Fans of Enugu appreciate the players and officials that have made the state and Igbo land proud by breaking the thirty-two years jinx to win the 2015/2016 NPFL League trophy after an extra ordinary seasons performance, and the board will also be meeting with Rangers Intl. FC Technical Adviser Imama Amapakabo on some issues concerning the players going on break, camping and program for the CAF Champions League Campaign and new season.
Meanwhile, the injured Rangers player is recuperating well and fast at the National Orthopedic hospital Enugu, and the Rangers team, Doctor, Dr Emeka Onyia is optimistic that he will leave the hospital sooner than expected and appreciates the words of encouragement and concern of the fans and supporters.
